  • Another Wild Night

Last night didn’t end until this morning…1 o’clock this morning. Our night started at 4 in the afternoon at the Hammonds’ house. David started the preparations to cook his world famous Abalone Chowder. We brought over two groceries bags full of pots, pans, the vegetables and other ingredients to make this delicious dish. Sis. Bev made a simple salad placed in abalone shells. It was perfect. Afterwards, we played Boggle…aaagain. It was fun…Matt didn’t think so though. And once again we forced him to play. Poor guy. But, eventually, him and David wandered over into the other room to play some computer game. (even later into the evening Sarah and I sneaked in a couple of games of Skip-Bo. We didn’t let him play)
It was great fun to enjoy time with people that are so special to us. Cylas too had a great time. He found a basket that was very interesting and decided to use it to keep himself entertained. Eventually, the basket became a hat and then a place to put all of the doggy toys….eww.
This video is Sarah and THINKING that we’re taking a picture…but it was actually a video!!

    Hi Misha,

This is Carol Connell. I don’t know if you remember me. I am Karen Mester’s sister. The last time I saw you was at Marine World in Vallejo, and I think you were just barely a teenager. I’ve looked around at your blog and am happy to see the fine young lady that you have become! It’s so encouraging to see young people that were raised in the church grow up and continue to serve the Lord. Your son is adorable too and looks just like you. May God’s blessing be upon you and your husband as you raise your family.

    Love in Christ,

    Carol Connell
