There are many things I love to do.  Cooking is one of them.  I spend a couple of hours every week scouring recipe sites and blogs for my family.  And I found a delish cinnamon bread recipe that I wanted to bake.  Especially after getting my flour.  Now my history with baking…*ehm* not so good.  The times I have attempted … it’s just nightmarish.  But this time, I decided to set aside all my previous failures and conquer this bread recipe.  It started out great!  Cylas was my eager beaver helper.
    I measured.  He poured.
    We waited.
And nothing happened.  Literally nothing.  I was SO disappointed and Cylas was too.  My “dough” was more like pancake batter and swirled around pathetically in the mixer.  But I wasn’t going to give up quite yet, so I poured in just a touch more flour and it looked like it was going to work!  Nope.  Super nope.  And so, I just let it set in the glass bowl.  For three days.
And it finally rose.  After THREE days my dough rose.  Why was it sitting there for three days you ask?  Because.  Because I was mad at the sucker.
So, it sat.  And now I’m going to chuck it.  I thought about feeding it to the chickens but I think they could choke and die on this stuff.  *grumble, grumble*  Next time.  Next time.

Did the recipe call for yeast? If so what type of yeast did you use?
