  • The rocks are back

    They’re on my porch

    And my counter…

It’s the weather.  Once the weather slides north of 35 degrees, the rocks come out and they usually stay until fall.
I’ve stepped on them, tripped on them, kicked them and screamed, it doesn’t matter, they don’t care how I treat them, they return day in and day out to snuggle on my porch, or nestle in corners on the floor or even make an appearance during dinner time.
It’s like a Dr. Seuss book, “socks on Knox and Knox in box.  Fox in socks on box in Knox.”
And I have to thank Cylas for these rocks.  He controls them.  Rock-migration.
It’s only the first part of March and days on the street are still a little cold so I have a couple weeks until it’s a full on migration.  I guess rocks are better than a load of Canadian geese taking up residence on my lawn.  Poop vs. rocks.

Hahah, I'm glad I'm not alone!! I took the first picture on this post, this morning. My porch has grown rocks!! He is slightly obsessed. I don't know if I've ever washed any yet, but I'm sure that's in my future.
