In my napsack stash
Well, several packs. Four 24 packs to be precise. Over the weekend we decided to try out the melted Crayola poster board activity. It was so much fun.
Papa dumped out the crayons and started organizing them according to the color pattern we wanted.
Then, he took a glue gun, squirted a small strip of glue down the back of each crayon and replaced it.
I love happy colors like these. Notice, all the browns, blacks and whites are missing…
Once the glue set, we headed off to the garage for the action!
Hello Simply Basic. You nearly gave your life for this project.
Almost halfway through, the blow dryer quit. I thought we’d lost it. But a few minutes later it kicked back on. We figured out the best way to make the crayons melt. Blow dry them from the top. Let them melt out and down their paper casing, instead of standing in front of the crayons melting them.
The whole project, start to finish, took about two hours. Well worth the outcome. Wouldn’t you say?
