In my napsack stash
And, I kid you not, I found myself. I just dug around inside my mind. Pulled back the cobweb curtains and found a side of myself that had being lying dormant. For years. Yeaars I tell you.
I’ve always been known for my quippish behavior, rather distinct way of speaking, vivid imagination, hyperbolic way in storytelling. Just on and on and on. I think eight years of marriage, two children and a move cross country sort of discombobulated me. Literally. When you’re in a new place it takes time to adjust and then get a feel for the people and the culture around you. Some people adapt quickly, while others, like
me well, I won’t mention any names, take years and years to finally find that nice, comfortable snuggle spot in their new surroundings.
I don’t have much more to write on this subject. But, I am infinitely curious. Has this ever happened to you?
