  • Of Food And Love: Cy’s recipe for poison

Now, why my son thought it important enough to sit around and think about a recipe for poison, I’ll never know.  Let’s just chalk it up to the fact that he is super imaginative and needed a way to eliminate any possible threat from an “inja” attack  (ninja).  We were sitting at the table eating when he just volunteered this information in between bites of his lunch.  I almost couldn’t believe what I was hearing, and committed it to memory so I could never forget, but then I got a genius thought.  Why not record it!  So I did.  Here he is telling me how to make “poison”.

    Cy\’s Recipe For Poison

And then he actually MADE his poison!!  How he managed to sneak around the house with small buckets full of water, I’ll never know.  I was out running errands and D was home with the kids.  By the time I got back, my spice rack had been invaded and my bottle of oil nearly emptied.

    He peed in one…

And dumped oil along with a myriad of spices into the others, including curry.  My God!

D said he was quite mad and I don’t blame him.  But, gosh, it was funny!

Cy was very, very proud of his recipe and couldn’t wait to show me …which he did, and some of it spilled.  Then I was slightly irritated.  But, it’s ok.  I’ll never forget these moments, ever…

hummmm, I wonder what’s next for this little mans imagination.

LOL! I love him! You know, this is great for telling stories later on. My kids always want to know what they did when they were younger, and if it was naughty (like Elle smearing my bathroom with chocolate pudding, yeah, heart failure at first sight), it is even better. His imagination is awesome! You go, Cy!!!
